It is beyond me why you can even think about it as his fault. And in your text here you give not a single understandable reason why it should be his fault. The players just didn’t turn up. They didn’t care at all, which sadly is a familiar problem from Arsenal. Arteta tries to kick that culture of surrendering in big games out, and he did well apart from last night. And criticizing him for team selection is ridiculous. We have zero squad depth, our most important players were out and we lost one top performer in the first half. I know that there is a lot of emotion in all of us after this abysmal and lacklustre performance, but blaming Arteta is just so wrong. After the first half against West Ham Laca said that they were so bad because they did nothing Arteta wanted from them, in the second they did. Even a blind man could see the difference. Last night they didn’t do what Arteta demanded for 90 minutes. That’s why he said this was absolutepy unacceptable and they need to apologize for this atrocity of a mindset.
