As an Orient fan, we were told that our procedures were clearly not fit for purpose and there was talk of the club being hit with a fine in addition to Spuds being given a bye.
It was definitely a case of the EFL looking down their noses at little Leyton Orient.

Claiming that Liverpool might get a special case when only 2 years ago they had to field a youth team and effectively bowed out of the cup. Last weekend half the PL matches cancelled due to covid cases and apparently talking about 14 covid cases. Agree that better transparency is needed but would not aim this specifically at Liverpool who had players absent for a key match and lost points as a result.
