Tue, 12 Aug 2025 06:59:05 +0000 hourly 1 https://www.suburbangooners.com/2025/08/12/the-dominoes-need-to-fall-for-arsenal-if-eze-is-to-become-a-thing/#comment-28049 Tue, 12 Aug 2025 06:59:05 +0000 https://www.suburbangooners.com/?p=19027#comment-28049 I’ve always felt regarding Eze there’s a lot of noise surrounding him, and certainly on our clubs “keep an eye on” list, but it doesn’t feel to me like their top target, yes as a fan it would be incredibly exciting, “ one of our own” coming home, and someone who plays the Arsenal way, shades of Santi Corzola , but it will be a lot of money no doubt for a 27 year old ( I like the early transfer {Edu era} policy of 25 or younger), and not too sure how/if he fits in to our structure & if he’s more of an attacking midfielder could he block the pathway of Nwaneri/Dowman? I feel there’s another target arsenal have in mind, once we’ve moved some wood, maybe someone who’s not in the media’s crosshairs at the moment. Personally if it’s a winger we want I’d love to see us get Anthony Gordon but I think he’s un-gettable, or for the squad a Morgan Rogers, or maybe a wildcard signing like the guy who plays alongside Eze , Ismael Sarr.
