Morning folks and welcome to Monday. It's a three day week in the UK because of the Queen's jubilee, which means desk jockey's like me get to enjoy an extended weekend, which is all kinds of groovy. What is also all kinds of groovy, was seeing that three referees at the top of our game [...]
Morning folks. Hope you’re all good? Did you watch the Champions League final last night? I didn’t. Last thing I wanted to see was a massive build up about how super amazing Liverpool are and how they’re the greatest side to have ever walked the planet. And yet having suffered defeat yesterday, their season has [...]
Thought I'd jump back in to the writing saddle this morning, having stepped away having had 11 days away from The Arsenal. That Newcastle defeat hit me hard. I have a natural defence mechanism as an Arsenal fan; I tend to think the most pessimistic outcome is the most likely one, then when it happens [...]
What was Thursday's objective has now been shifted to tonight, with it feeling like the season pretty much rests on what this young Arsenal team does tonight at St James' Park. At home it's a horrible feeling of nerves, but that is tempered somewhat by our record at [...]
As I tap away at my laptop this morning, hurtling at speed on the Met Line to a day in the office, my mind is essentially doing a 'countdown to midnight a la 'The Watchmen' as we rapidly approach the North London Derby. And today my time will be taken up - in between meetings - [...]
I've got to be completely frank with you, I absolutely cannot stand the North London Derby. There are people that say they look forward to it, that it is a great opportunity to do one over the old enemy and when it comes to the post match bliss after a win I can totally understand [...]
Eddie Nketiah’s brace was vital in Arsenal securing three points at home to Leeds.
Arsenal must start quickly with an intensity that Leeds cannot match if we are to win today’s tough game in the Premier League today.
