Football karma man, it sucks. The footballing gods in particular, man, they hate me. So I want to take this moment to offer a public apology to all of you guys who read my ramblings regularly: I have let you all down. I went Uber-positive on Sunday's blog. It was a break from the norm. I [...]
That was an utter disgrace yesterday. I am starting this blog the night of the game. I never do that. This was an unprofessional Arsenal performance. This was a disgraceful performance. I am embarrassed. This is falling apart. Two wins in nine. This is a football side who have spent two-thirds of the season being [...]
I have a real sense of gnawing frustration this morning. I watched the United/City game, and I just assumed United would be pants and City cut our lead, not the other way around, so by the time kick off came for our game, I was buzzing. There's nothing like a Sean Dyche mid-block slog-fest to [...]
Yesterday morning I was brushing my teeth and I was thinking about the Big Gabi injury. I thought to myself "it feels like every time we get an injury update from a Fabrizio Romano or an Ornstein Bomba with regards to injuries over the last 12 - 18 months, it's always been worse than is first [...]
Yesterday was a day at home doing lots of jobs and chores, so unusually for me, I got plenty of time to be scrolling through my social media feeds for the latest Arsenal-related transfer news. I picked a bad day to do it. That's because all the talk yesterday was on Arsenal reaching personal terms [...]
Sometimes I love writing this blog. And I always love Arsenal football club. I'm proud of the way in which we - for the most part - do things properly. There's a class about Arsenal that has always been something that we, as fans, are proud of. Trophies are important, the stuff that happens on the [...]
I actually switched on the Nations League final yesterday for 15 minutes, just so I could have a quick look at Zubimendi, although I didn't get a glimpse of his goal. I did unfortunately see Ronaldo get the equaliser to make it 2-2 and then prance around for a few minutes afterwards as if he [...]
So defeats to Forest, a 0-0 draw between Brentford and Chelsea and a 0-0 between City and United, have effectively meant that despite getting shafted on Merseyside on Saturday lunchtime, there's not really been a lot of movement in the Premier League this weekend. The results as they fell mean that we're five clear of [...]
Today, this most holiest of Saints Days - that of the feast of St Totteringham - should be a day of mild celebration and snickering about a club in the mud that can no longer finish above us. It has come rather early this year, but nevertheless, we should be chuckling away at the plight [...]
Happy Wednesday folks - hope you and yours are well. I don't know why I bothered to check out the farcical pantomime that was "Match officials mic'd up" whilst browsing through Sky Sports' website last night on the way back from work, but I did. And it was the review of the MLS red card [...]
