It's match day today and it's one that always has significance in my family, because it is where rivalries are split, given a large chunk of my family are West Ham fans. It's a little like the North London Derby because i'm not really a fan of it, but it doesn't have the same level [...]
Yesterday we learned our fate for the Europa League, after the draw was made, in which we will face up against Slavia Prague in April in the quarter finals of the competition. The will not be an easy opponent, but what we have learned about them in the last few days, are that they are [...]
Well I guess we got through and that, first and foremost, is the most important thing on a night in which the Scum utterly diarrhea'd in their own bed to go out to Dinamo Zagreb. Arteta even mentioned their exit in terms of how we have to sort out displays like last night because what [...]
Match day is here and it is European football again for us this evening, although hopefully not for the last time this season, as we would like safe passage to the quarter finals please, footballing gods. We take a more commanding lead into this game compared to the same fixture against Olympiakos last season, but [...]
Morning folks. How is it Wednesday already? It's like life is flashing before our very eyes, eh? I guess the upside is that we're getting closer to being able to go back to normality from a global pandemic situation. Plus from an Arsenal side we also step closer towards the end of this wretched season, [...]
Morning folks. Happy Tuesday. Still a happy day after the NLD win and whilst by the end of today that particular victory will start to fade in to memory, right now I'm still basking enough to enjoy getting one over on the scum. Then on Thursday, we face off against Olympiakos in the second leg [...]
As much as I hate the build up to any North London Derby, you gotta love basking in the aftermath of a victory in one. There can be no sweeter feeling other than winning a trophy. And so it is that today we are happy as Arsenal fans, because not only did we get the [...]
Here we are. The worst day in our football calendar in my opinion: North London Derrby Day at home. I hate it. There's just so much always riding on this one, the nerves are heightened and - despite there being no fans in the stadium and therefore home advantage is pretty much negated - it [...]
My my my. We really are something, aren't we, eh? Clock ticking down, time running out, 11 minutes plus stoppage time to turn what would have been a disappointing draw away to Olympiakos in Athens and up steps forward two unlikely goalscorers with two super goals to put us in control of this two-legged tie. [...]
Morning folks and welcome to another match day, only this one is a definite match day with a lot more riding on it than most, as we face up against Olympiakos in Athens this evening. It is not only a familiar ground - having played there as our 'home' game in the last round - [...]
