Much like the last game we played - Leicester in the Carabao Cup - tonight's game is a weird one for me because it really doesn't feel like a game in which we should worry too much about. I mean obviously it's a big game and I'm sure i'll be nervous by the time kick [...]
It appears we have made something of a breakthrough - if multiple French journos are to be believed - in the attempt to bring in a new midfielder to our team. It’s not an unfamiliar name in Houssem Aouar, who last night Arsenal Twitter lit up after a number of those ITK accounts suggested is [...]
Matchday! Get in! These are some of the best ones of the season for me because: 1. There’s still the excitement of how this season is going to pan out. 2. You haven’t been fatigued by the volume of games, often made worse if Arsenal are terrible, or the season has deflated like an old [...]
The cat is finally out of the bag and I don't know about you, but I for one am glad, because it was all starting to drag on a bit. Aubameyang has committed his future to The Arsenal for the next three years. And I don't think there's a proper gooner out there who isn't [...]
So here we are, Tuesday the 15th September, halfway through this ninth month of the year, and STILL no signing confirmation of Aubameyang. We've even had Wrighty speak to Pap Aubameyang to get his son to sign. It's all becoming a bit silly now, isn't it? I mean the whole world seems to acknowledge that [...]
So it appears the Emi Martinez situation has come to a conclusion last night with pretty much every news outlet now reporting that the deal has been done and he's joined Aston Villa for around £20million. I say ' around' because whilst most are reporting it at £20million, Sky Sports were talking it up as [...]
Iiiiiiiiiiit's MATCHDAY! Yep, I'm excited, despite all of my cynicism about the Project Restart, despite the fact we still don't quite have the balance right in midfield (as Mikel alluded to in his press conference yesterday), as well as the fact that we have a mountain of injuries already. I'm still so excited to see [...]
Morning all, hope you’re all fine and dandy and feeling grand, on this Tuesday before the start of the new season? For me it’s a weird one because I’m travelling in on the tube for the first time in six months and I’m already surrounded by a bunch of ‘orrible school kids, one of which [...]
So whilst some of the players have been away on international duty this weekend, the club continued its preparations for the upcoming season with a friendly against Aston Villa, which would have been far more palatable to watch than having to sit through the England game. But it wasn’t televised so we had to make [...]
So we have ourselves another signing of the summer and, whilst it was the world’s worst kept secret that Gabriel Magalhaes was an Arsenal player, seeing him unveiled by fellow Brazilians David Luiz and Willian was still a fantastic way to bring the young defender in officially. There are plenty of glossy videos that announce [...]
