Morning, morning, morning people and welcome to 'The Countdown' - it all kicks off this Friday with The Arsenal and I personally cannot wait. But before I go back to talking about The Arsenal men's team, it would be remiss of me not to tip my hat to the England Women's football team, who went [...]
Last night I jumped on a podcast with a few people and we talked about the season as a whole. The ups, the downs and the randoms. It was good to get on it and have enough distance between the crushing end of the season and look at the season as a whole, but much [...]
Looks like Alexandre Lacazette has been keeping his eyes open and options available for his next move, having spoken to French TV, who yesterday released his comments about having multiple offers from teams and also wanting to play for a Champions League club. I'm sure you do Alex, I'm sure you do. But let's not [...]
I chose my words to the title for today's musings quite carefully here. I know there are people that are convinced that Arteta is, from a tactical perspective, a man who knows his onions and he has shown that at times this season. I also know that there are a proportion - a small one [...]
Morning folks - hope you're all well? Haven't been behind my computer since Wednesday last week, as I was holidaying in Rome and eating way too much pasta and pizza to think about penning thoughts whilst away on my travels, but am back behind my laptop today for a first day back at work and [...]

Well we're rounding the corner of the interlull and by golly, hasn't this felt like a longer than usual one, eh? It really has dragged on and I for one cannot wait until the weekend. Actually, scrap that, I cannot wait for next Monday, because that is when The Arsenal play. I went for my [...]
Howdy folks and welcome to another working week. Monday's are always made a little more easier after The Arsenal get a win and despite the fact that the Scum also beat West Ham to move to within three points of us, I am still in confident enough and happy enough mood. Don't get me wrong, [...]
If you have read my ramblings for long enough you'll know me well enough by now to know that I try my hardest to not really focus on other teams in my daily musings. They are of little interest to me and besides, nobody really wants to come to an Arsenal blog and talk about [...]
I'm going to stray in to territory where I'm not exactly 100% comfortable or an expert in today. This is my disclaimer to let you know that what I'm now about to say is based on my opinion and so is both open to interpretation, bias, as well as potential factual inaccuracy, although if so [...]
