Morning folks. Happy Chinese New Year if you're so inclined to celebrate it. Me personally, I'm half celebrating because my company is predominantly Asian based and so whilst I don't get the day off like many of them do, I have to say it's rather nice having a week where I can play catch up [...]
In yesterday's pre match blog I said that I thought the midfield pairing would have a bearing on the outcome of the game. I think it's fair to say I got that one a bit wrong. In fact, it was the midfield two of Guendouzi and Torreira who I thought came out of the game [...]
Work got in the way of me blogging yesterday, which is always a bit of a pain in the arse, but with another 24 hours at least until we play City and with Arsenal just signing the one player this January, it's not as if there was tonnes to talk about anyway, was there? Suarez [...]
Well that series of results was a turn up for the books last night, eh? I mean quite how we find ourselves clinging on to fourth after a laboured 2-1 victory over Cardiff City on Tuesday is beyond me if I'm honest. But thanks must go to Sarri and his Chelski side who got absolutely [...]

And it was a dogged Cardiff team. [...]
This game will have a sadly strange feel about it today I think, what with it being the first game since Cardiff City have played, having tragically lost Emiliano Sala to that plane crash over a week ago. It's times like that in which you realise how football is just a side distraction in your [...]
We're reaching the home stretch of the transfer window (thankfully) and with only four days left this week to get deals done there will invariably be a bit of trolley dashing from a few clubs at the last minute. I really don't get it if I'm honest. If you know you need a player why [...]
Howdy all. One day closer to the weekend and for a change, a day even more closer towards The Arsenal playing, which is nice methinks. The manager did his press conference yesterday and spoke about the injury to Bellerin, he spoke about United and also on transfers. There's not much point in me going over [...]
So we've lost Hector for the whole season, confirmed by the club yesterday evening, which now means that some kind of solution at right back needs to be found by a unai Emery. It's a bitter blow for the team because it was obvious the difference in class that Hector brought to the team when [...]
