Yesterday I had family over, which was a very fortunate excuse for not blogging, or having anything to do with the existence of Football, if I'm honest with you. I just didn't want the rage of knowing that Arsenal had a massive missed opportunity. And given the fact that the team had enough chances to [...]
Yesterday we hit December, which means I can officially go FULL CHRISTMAS CHEER, starting yesterday with the decorations going up in the house and Home Alone on in the background. I love this time of year. Everyone seems to be much happier. So what I - and by extension you - could really do without, [...]
With such a quick turnaround time in between Premier League games this week, it feels like this is the period of the season in which Arsène's squad is tested to its limits for the first time, as the manager needs to make some decisions on how he rotated his squad differently to the usual 'Team [...]
Yesterday's win against United felt good, didn't it? It had a performance that had us remembering that this collective of players are in fact capable of pulling off performances that can add a touch of sparkle to the weekend's proceedings. Forget about the fact Mourinho had talked up his own teams failings, forget about his [...]
Morning folks. It's game day and it's a home match against Man United but if I'm honest with you, I can't remember a game against United that was so underwhelming, or had so little riding on it from two teams who really have failed to impress this season. Arsenal currently in sixth versus United in [...]
You and I may already be aware that Arsenal's Premier League campaign is already run and that Champions League football is unlikely to reach the Emirates next season, but Arsène had to put a brace face on it and talk up how the team will keep fighting, etc, etc, but at this stage does anybody [...]
Morning. How are you doing? Still licking your wounds from Sunday? Yeah I know. Me too. It's probably a good thing that there's a bit of quiet coming out of the club this week. They're all probably wrapped up in their bubbles somewhere. As for you and I, we have to deal with Tiny Totts [...]
So yesterday the quartet of semi finalists were confirmed and as much as I'd love to see Chelski brought down a peg after the season they've had, it's still delightful to see Jose and United fans outraged at some kind of perceived injustice against them, like they haven't had cart blanche as a club for the [...]
Monday's are rubbish. They're especially rubbish when you don't quite feel 100% and after a weekend of being slightly under the weather, I already feel a little worn down because of feeling a bit offish. Still, at least we don't have to wait long before we see The Arsenal again. It's a home game to [...]
What is it about Old Trafford? What is it about Jose Mourinho? Both seem to bring out the worst - performance-wise - in Arsène Wenger teams. Yesterday was a painful game to watch. It was 45 minutes of tedium followed by 45 minutes of under performance from Arsenal players, which was only spared by a [...]
