I haven't exactly had the time to actually watch the game yet due to work travel commitments, so today's blog is a little bit of a 'helicopter view' of what I think it means to us to have beaten United on our own patch yesterday. It's big. Real big. Potentially season defining big. It is [...]
Frustratingly, because I've got overseas travel with work today, I'll not find out the result of the game until about 7pm tonight. Which isn't exactly helping my nervous disposition when I think about the game in general. This - as well as Rennes at home on Thursday next week - is season defining for Emery [...]
Isn't it just the modern day football fan that we're so well informed as to what goes on thanks to an over saturation of news and content, that when the news came out that Monchi was leaving Roma yesterday, a fair few Arsenal fans (myself included) looked at the situation and exclaimed delight that hopefully [...]
Happy Tuesday folks. Just over 48 hours to go until the next edition of The Arsenal is out, with the gents travelling to Rennes for the first of our two legged knockout against the French side. After three games in a week it feels like a bit of a no mans land right now but [...]
Howdy folks and welcome to a brand new week, a week in which we could go a long way in to defining our first season under Emery, with Rennes in the Europa League and Man United on Sunday. And after the weed feeling of frustration-but-also-pride that many of us are feeling after this weekend in [...]
Work got in the way of me blogging yesterday, which is always a bit of a pain in the arse, but with another 24 hours at least until we play City and with Arsenal just signing the one player this January, it's not as if there was tonnes to talk about anyway, was there? Suarez [...]
Morning all. I must admit I didn't actually go to the game last night and when I checked my phone after i'd finished what I was doing in the evening, I feel like I dodged a bit of a bullet, because it was a familiar story against United on our home soil. It's what happens [...]
Match day? On a Friday you say? At any other time I'd kinda like it. I work in a London, takes me about 15 minutes on the train to get to Highbury & Islington, so I can get a few jars in with the lads. Great fun. Except The Management booked us in for tickets [...]
Howdy all. One day closer to the weekend and for a change, a day even more closer towards The Arsenal playing, which is nice methinks. The manager did his press conference yesterday and spoke about the injury to Bellerin, he spoke about United and also on transfers. There's not much point in me going over [...]
So it's an FA Cup home tie against United that we have to face in the next round of the FA Cup. I guess the best way to ensure you have an easier cup final is to beat them along the way, eh? ;-) On a serious note, how are Liverpool fans going to explain [...]
