Happy post Interlull day to you. At least I think it is because most of the European fixtures - playoffs and friendlies - were played yesterday and so I suspect players will be returning back to their clubs from today to get back in to training for tomorrow. As you all know by now I [...]
Morning folks. Welcome to Tuesday and welcome to a day in which that most emotional of people - the Italians - will be even more emotional given the fact that they’re players failed to reach the World Cup finals for the first time in a gazillion years. I mention this only because I work with [...]
Ahh man, this feels like it’s a real dragger of an Interlull, and not just because there’s little going around by the way of Arsenal news. I tune out the transfer tittle-tattle when there’s still six weeks to go until the January window opens, and when it’s a window that doesn’t usually see big clubs [...]
Happy Friday folks. Looking forward to the weekend? No? Why not? Is it because there is practically zero football on that is worth thinking about or watching? Internationals, eh? They’re like a six month check up to the dentist; thoroughly unwanted. Incidentally I’ve decided to compound my own misery by having to do that this [...]

Another Monday swings around for us post Interlull and what a surprise we have that most 'lully' of things: an injury to worry about. Shkodran Mustafi looks to have been the latest in a long line of Arsenal players to be packed up, shipped out on international duty and then smashed into little pieces before [...]
I love it when i worryingly look at the international fixtures to see who's played from Arsenal, who's been broken and who's coming back with a severed torso, only to find that our players just haven't played. It's delicious. So when I see that Nacho was an unused sub, that Hector isn't even in the [...]
There's nothing like a series of international football to do the dirty work of the Premier League. The fact I saw people tweeting last night about when the Premier League returns shows you just how tedious the game was. Quite an advert for it, I'd even go as far to say. The Premier League must [...]
Hey folks. Having a happy Monday? Never really got in to that band. Was a bit too young for me I think. Still the irony has never been lost on me and with the weather in Blighty reflecting the mood of most Gooners at the moment, what more can one want than a bit of [...]
So some football stuff happened this weekend, but nothing that would interest you remotely, so I might as well talk about how I love cheese. Right? That good for you? Probably not. The successful delivery of my cauliflower cheese in my Sunday lunchtime roast is hardly the most riveting story in the world. Pretty much [...]
